S. Daman Paul, MD (Director): Dr. Paul has been a health-care professional in pediatrics for over 35 years, providing a range of services to infants, children and adolescents. His particular interests include school physicals, sports physicals, asthma, allergies, obesity, and helping sick children to feel better.
Gretchen C. Gainor, MD: A native of San Diego and a resident of La Jolla, Dr. Gainor is the mother of two girls. As a pediatrician, she is especially interested in promoting healthy growth and development in children and in the prevention of disease and accidental injury.
Alisa J. Lawrie, MD: Dr. Lawrie grew up in the San Diego area, where she currently lives lives with her physician husband and their son. She practices pediatrics at the Naval Center San Diego, and continues to enjoy working with military families.
Karen A. McGowan, MD: Dr. McGowan is the mother of two girls and the wife of a high school biology teacher. She has a special interest in developmental issues, which is attested to by her appointment as a liaison to the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Children with Disabilities.
