Prior to manufacturing aluminum docks, FSI spent 3 years building top quality steel and wood docks. Although steel and wood are adequate materials, they can be short lived unless constantly maintained.

Aluminum is able to withstand the elements year after year regardless of the climate. Due to the properties of aluminum it has remarkable flexibility while retaining its shape and strength in rough waters.
