Barr Lumber Company was established in 1903 by O.H. Barr. The Barr family ran the business through three generations. Locations have included Whittier, Pico Rivera, Norwalk, Artesia, Orange, San Juan Capistrano, Los Alamitos, City of Industry, Needles, Costa Mesa, Lake Forest and Huntington Beach. The company currently has six locations with the corporate office and distribution yard located in San Bernardino. The current ownership completed an asset sale in May, 1998. Their vision is to expand on the well respected Barr Lumber Company name and values in the Southern California market. The company serves four market segments:
1.) New home, multifamily and commercial building contractors,

4.) Sales to commercial and industrial businesses.
