Desert Automotive, Muffler and Hitch Company was an idea started by Bryan May at the young age of 24 in 1981. The company started in a small shop with no employees. As the company began to grow the building became too small. So, in 1985 the new shop was built at 16281 Yucca St. in Hesperia, Ca. The new building was constucted with 8 bays, including a steam clean bay, custom exhaust and hitch installation bays, 5 automotive repair bays, an office and a 1500 sq. ft. hitch warehouse . In 1996, a customer lounge with satellite t.v. was built. While customers wait for automotive, hitch and exhaust work they enjoy themselves with the comforts of home,(television, remote control, soda and the couch.) Desert Automotive, Muffler and Hitch Company is best known for grade 'A' service and the products that they sell. As the largest Hitch Pro distributor in the high desert they have every hitch for your needs. Our 1500 sq.ft. warehouse is fully stocked with hitch accessories, wiring, ball mounts, balls, receivers, gooseneck and fifth wheels.
