How to facebook contact sync with android

If you wish to sync your face book contacts with your android smart phone, the process is extremely simple. 

• First open the face book app in your android smart phone. Next located on the right corner of the app will be three horizontal lines. Tap on those three lines to display a set of options. 

• In the options, search for a tab marked “friends”. Select it and after it select “contacts” and then press on “get started”. 

When you cell phone contact sharing is enabled, all the contacts on your phonebook will be synced with your face book account automatically. However there are some particular models of cell phones like Nexus devices in which the process to sync your face book contact with your smart phone is much simpler. 

• In such devices simply open settings.

• Upon opening settings, there will be a tab marked “accounts” wherein all the account information of all the apps on your smart phone are stored. Therefore select the option “accounts”.

• Choose the app “face book” as this is the account whose contacts saved therein, you wish to sync.

• Next select the option “contacts” in it to display the options that are associated with “contacts”.

• In it, the option to sync would be turned off. You need to simply turn it on again to enable the sync of your face book contacts onto your android device. 

• Upon doing so, the device starts syncing.

This process is usually undertaken by the users when they install the app on their smart phones but did not sync their mobile phone contacts with face book upon opening the app.
