Remove the Window Casing and Trim.

Dry Fit Window

In case you encounter fitting issued, address them immediately and then try dry fitting the window again till you succeed. When dry fitting is done properly and the mistakes corrected the window should be able to fit snugly into the opening. Do not move on with till you are fully satisfied that the window fits appropriately/ as expected.
Install Window
This s the heat of the whole installation process and is actually very simple. The first thing you should do is to run a bead of silicone on all of the inside edges of the window stop then slide the new window into place properly. Now place a level across the top of the new window and then press cedar shims in between the jamb and the bottom of the window frame as necessary to get the window at the appropriate level. Complete the set up by screwing the window into place.
