Colors are the vitality of design. Excellent control of color sets apart the real designer from the “wanna-be” event planners. Luckily, you don’t have to be an event planner to be good at design and you don’t have to be a designer to be an event planner. All color design really takes is a few moments to think out what the event should look like.
Every color has it’s own dominant feeling. A sort of associated word or connotation which sets the feel of the event. This guide will show you how each color sets the mood, and then you can specifically choose what will help your event sparkle. Just make sure you don’t use all the colors at once!
Summer is the best time for colors which are refreshing. A light lime green that isn’t too offensive can feel refreshing and invigorating. This color is also unique and goes in and out of style. It can be difficult to find the right lime colors and matching can be difficult. If you go for this unique choice, make sure you can get the right colors from your party rentals in Los Angeles.
A sky blue is the next great color for summer. It tells a story about an open sky with a couple of pillow soft clouds floating softly by. A light blue and white are comfortable colors and can open up an event space with an inviting trend.
A coral pink is the next color. As more of a pastel red, this color does not give off the bright passion of red. It is more in line with a relaxing day at the beach or going out and having a fruit picnic on a warm day. This color is more reserved, yet warm and relaxing. Great for weddings or internal events.
A sunny yellow is the final color. This yellow is not offensive to the eyes, and could be seen as close to gold. It is inviting and holds the same colors and feelings a yellow daffodils or sunflowers. The color yellow is best contrasted by small amounts of black. These color make for a more lively event. Make sure the black and yellow don’t look like bees!
Each color has it’s own setting and intention. Look for a color that speaks with your event. Figuring out exactly what is available in certain colors is also helpful. Make sure to work with a company who can provide exactly what you need in the color you need. Don’t let poor selection stop you from having the perfect event.
