Studio City Dental Center announced the implementation of digital x-ray imaging for immediate patient education and treatment. The new chairside image projection system allows dentists to speak in real-time with patients regarding dental issues and possible solutions, providing, according to Studio City Dental Center representatives, faster service while better involving the patient in choosing solutions to known problems.

Digital radiography with regard to dentistry provides Dr. Zareh Kouyoumdjian and his staff  the ability to store images on a computer, thus yielding two key advantages over film-based systems in the form of full-screen images that can be enhanced and zoomed in on – aiding diagnostics and providing easier patient communication – as well as allowing dental offices to communicate images electronically, resulting in simpler referrals and, where applicable, easier insurance claim submission.
