Hi, I'm Abby Hewitt, President of California Connections. We've put together this web site to show you some samples of work we've done for our private and public sector clients and to tell you a little about who we are and how we do business.
I started California Connections in 1982 with the idea of giving my clients a high quality, cost-effective product and high energy service. We've done just that for over 20 years with a small professional staff and a flat organization. That so many of our clients have stayed with us over the years speaks to how well we've achieved our objectives.
We've found our lean and mean structure works out best for everyone—us and our clients. That doesn't mean we don't produce award-winning products or that we don't keep up with the latest technology and design software for our industry. We do! As you'll see from our samples, California Connections is fully equipped and competent to work in all venues of print and electronic business communications.
Design Director Susan Gross oversees all of our graphic design. She brings a wealth of campaign experience and incredible talent to our professional team. She and others in-house have in-depth experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, Macromedia Studio, Adobe Premiere, and a host of web design applications. We also work with a number of talented independents we've come to know over the years, and we use them whenever our clients need the specialized services they provide. We maintain direction and control, but you pay only for the services you receive—not the backroom overhead pool.
Our firm's strength flows from our ability to identify a client's needs and to apply and direct the correct resources to meet the client's objectives. Equally important is our commitment to excellence. I bring that commitment to each client in the same way I've brought it to working in our community and serving with community-based organizations.
