November: if it werent for Thanksgiving Day festivities the month would be pretty boring (except for the wifes birthday of course). Fruits are gone and most of our Veggies go south for the winter, leaving us with Navel Oranges, Tangerines, Pomegranates, Persimmons, new crop Apples and Pears. If not for Brussels Sprouts the whole month would be a waste (except for the wifes birthday!) Although we sell generic mixed salads and slaws, our success has been through going out to our customers kitchens and duplicating their various blends and custom cuts. Bay Cities Produce Company was founded in 1947 by Albert Del Masso and has been managed by him and his son Steve ever since.
