If you stay in the Bay Area for Thanksgiving this year, please join St. Marks for a Thanksgiving Eve Worship Service with Holy Communion. The service will be followed by a dessert and coffee reception. We look forward to seeing you there! (Please note: no 6:00 p.m. supper that day.)
November 28 & December 5
We will look at the connection between Scripture and Worship and how our liturgy draws from the Bible in a variety of ways. We will go over some passages such as Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord basically showing where they come from in the Bible and how these stories connect with our worship and lives today. We will also look at Isaiahs Close Encounter with God (Isaiah 6) and Marys Song of Justice and Hope.
Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 6:00 pm
Join us for an evening of worship with leaders and clergy from the community as we remember those who have died of AIDS, support those who are living with HIV/AIDS and their families and friends, and continue to raise awareness in the global fight against HIV/AIDS.
Church Office closed over Thanksgiving
Please note that the church office will be closed from noon on Wednesday, November 24, through Thanksgiving weekend. The office will reopen on Monday, November 29. Happy Thanksgiving!
