"Happiness is a man's greatest achievement; it is the response of his total personality to a productive orientation toward himself and the world outside." -Eric Fromm
The mission of Intersect is to guide men, women, and adolescents into developing a loving relationship with themselves and then with others. Genuine happiness is truly man's greatest achievement, and this can only be achieved through having relationships with others. Drugs, compulsive behaviors, codependent behaviors, controlling others with angry behaviors; all these isolate, and is man's irrational attempts for experiencing happiness.
It is the aim of Intersect to help individuals learn the paradox of "Holding onto life with an open hand" - the key to unlocking genuine happiness, and personal freedom.
