Whittier Fertilizer is one of the largest suppliers to the landscape industry. We service nurseries, gardeners, landscapers and homeowners and welcome all to our nearly 15 acres of materials for everything from new landscape construction to general homeowner maintenance.
Our company is truly a "One Stop Landscape Supply Center". Come allow our long time customer service staff, totaling experience of well over 200 years, find what you need for your new installation or maintenance project.
Most all our organic products are available in either bag or in bulk (by the cubic yard) and delivery is available (with some minimums). If you have special needs or requests, we make custom mixes using any percentages of the products you wish to include. Give us your requested ingredients and we will blend it for you.

Our Topsoil is 100% Organic with no chemicals added. We also offer a mixture of our topsoil and compost to use as soil mix. Planter box mix, potting soil mix and any custom mix are also available upon request.

Whittier Fertilizer's decorate bark inventory includes all types of decorative bark from Small Bark, Medium Bark, Large Bark, Shredded Bark, Walk On Bark, Mini Nuggets,Red Dyed Bark and Gorilla Hair Bark.

Adding "cover mulch" to a planted area enhances beauty while aiding in moisture retention and weed suppression. Our mulch is made up of a combination of tree trimmings and clean waste lumber, mixed directly at our plant.

Organic sod soaks up water and releases it as the plant needs it. This allows your lawn to grow evenly and healthy with no bare spots for weeds to sprout up in. Using organic sod prevents the need to use chemicals.

By combining sand and/or topsoil with our organic amendments we can create a "ready to plant into" soil or planter mix. Improving the soil with organic fertilizer is the key to success to help your lawn of plants thrive.

Our Superior Brand compost is a blend of nitrolized redwood, fir sawdust and shavings with other wood and organic materials that is first composted and then screened for uniform consistency. Mixing is done at our plant and only by experienced personnel.
