In 1971, Stuart Barton, M.D. founded Desert Ear, Nose & Throat, the valley's first medical and surgical ENT group offering complete, in-house audiological services.
Robert Gebhart, M.D. joined Desert ENT in 1974. His special interests include management of sinus problems medically and surgically, thyroid and parathyroid tumors, childrens ENT problems, facial cancers with removal and reconstruction and treatment of hearing problems.
In 1982, the doctors at Desert ENT began assisting patients with the dispensing and fitting of hearing aids.
In 1999, Quinten VanderWerf, M.D. joined Desert ENT. Dr. VanderWerf completed medical school and Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery residency training at U.C.L.A. He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has experience in the latest techniques of cosmetic facial plastic surgery including minimally invasive endoscopic face lifts.
Dr. Christopher Walz, M.D. joined Desert ENT in 2007. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Walz is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
