For over 145 years, St. Matthews has been a beacon at the center of San Mateo. Each Sunday we gather for worship imbued with beauty, inspiration and grace. On weekdays our Day School fills the campus with energy and vitality. We are a church rooted and nourished by a rich tradition; one that values diversity and engages the challenges and complexities of the modern world.
Within our parish you will find groups committed to service and outreach, education, Christian fellowship, and pastoral care. Our parish is composed of individuals who have worshiped at Saint Matthews for decades along with those who have just discovered our faith community.

Once again the we have our annual charity Christmas Tree lot. The trees will be available for pick up November 26th, 27th and 28th and the following weekend, December 4th and 5th.
The St. Matthews Charity Christmas Tree annual outreach program raises funding for community based charities and you can help through your purchase of these fresh cut trees or garland.

Beginning September 5th, we resume our two Sunday service schedule, with Rite 1 at 8am and Rite 2 at 10:15am.

Sunday School kicks off a new season at 10am on September 12th.
