UMCOR Relief to Haiti
United Methodists have had a long-standing relationship with Haiti through the Methodist Church of Haiti. The strong ties between the Methodist Church of Haiti and The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) helped in facilitating the opening of the UMCOR Haiti field office in 2005.

A Christmas Carol
One of the most beloved Christmas stories is Charles Dickens’, A Christmas Carol. This story of Scrooge’s transformation is a wonderful story of hope and redemption. As a group we will read A Christmas Carol and have a discussion which is shaped by the story, Scriptures and our lives. This group is open to all and will meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:00, Nov. 23-Dec. 14. Books are $12 and available in the church office. Revs. Cindy Williams and Peter Wernett will be the leaders for this group. Child care is available by advance reservation.

In 1925, a time of great turmoil in the world, Pope Pius the XI added the feast of Christ The King to the Christian Calender. Pope Pius thought the world needed to be reminded that Christ is king of the universe. He urged the church not to be distracted by the evils of the world. This Sunday we will
explore what it means for us to claim that Christ is King.

Join us for worship as the choir brings us special Thanksgiving music and we share pie and cider in Healton Hall following the service.
