Named for the Tule Elk, which once roamed the nearby landscape, Elkhorn Country Club is a club for avid golfers. With an active calendar of social events and facilities for private functions, along with its challenging golf course and year-round tournament programs, Elkhorn Country Club provides golf enthusiasts a great time on and off the course.
Located off of Davis Road in North Stockton, California, the club sits on 93 acres. The relatively level course is very well maintained. It is built around three lakes and features large, well-bunkered greens and many mature trees.
Along with a beautiful golf course, Elkhorn Country Club offers facilities for events and meetings. For weddings and large parties, a banquet room seating up to 400 people is available. Elkhorn also offers a formal dining room with full menu service.
Other club amenities include men's and women's locker rooms with shower facilities, a golf shoppe with a variety of merchandise, club storage, office, a bar and a grill room. 72 motorized golf carts are available for players' convenience along with a well-maintained driving range and putting greens.
The club is typically open from 7:00am to 6:00pm, 4:00pm on Sudays and holidays, with the grill room closing at 3:00pm. The bar opens at 9:00am in the summer and 10:00am in the winter. Many banquets are scheduled with some open dates available for member usages for private parties or company sponsored affairs.
