Come enjoy the High Sierra from the comfort of the Christmas Tree Inn in the Gold Country near Sonora Pass, Pinecrest Lake, and Dodge Ridge. We are located on Highway 108 just uphill from Sonora and minutes from the picturesque village of Twain Harte and the Gold Rush towns of Columbia and Jamestown. Many of our guests enjoy day trips to Yosemite National Park.
The owners and staff of the AAA approved Christmas Tree Inn offer quality service to all of our guests. While staying with us you will be able to enjoy our year round heated spa and have fun during the summer in the heated pool. You will have your choice of nearby restaurants, shopping, and several golf courses. Our staff will be happy to help you plan some fun activities in the area or invite you to relax by the pool or spa.
IN THE SUMMER, take your pick of fun activities such as boating, fishing, water skiing, swimming, white water rafting, or horseback riding. The cool waters and beauty of Pinecrest Lake and the scenic Tuolumne and Stanislaus Rivers are nearby. Enjoy a stagecoach ride or gold panning in Columbia or ride the steam train in Jamestown. Go shopping in Twain Harte and enjoy a concert or movie in the Park. Many restaurants, from casual to fancy, are close by.
IN THE WINTER, hit the slopes at Dodge Ridge or take the family to the Leland High Sierra Snow Park just 30 minutes away. Cross country skiing and ice skating are close by. Bear Valley and Badger Pass offer additional skiing experiences.
You will be surrounded by the beauty of the evergreen forests with a variety of beautiful cedar and pine trees as you enjoy your stay at The Christmas Tree Inn.
