We understand that our clients may need help all day, every day. A staff member is always available to help with a special need after office hours.

Gerontology Home Companion Agency, Inc. is a private homecare aide organization. It was started in 1986 by gerontologists who recognized a need for a different kind of caregiver agency - not the typical medical model - but one that would work together with older people and their families to make safe, sensible and affordable plans to help people remain at home.
Our company recruits only aides and companions who have experience working with older people. We are passionate about finding those men and women who know that working at home with older people is more than a job. Many of them have been with us since the company began. Many aides are certified nursing assistants and certified home health aides; some are nursing professionals from other countries. They have many years experience as homecare aides. They impress us every day with their integrity and their dedication.

BETTYE A. BRYANT
As a gerontologist, Bettye A. Bryant understands the physical, social and psychological issues involved with normal aging and the challenges of those who are coping with illness and disability. She is familiar with community resources and the local continuum of care. She works actively in the company to oversee operations and to provide counsel to families who need extra support.
EDDIE M. TURNER
Eddie M. Turner has been in the health care field with GHC for more than 15 years. She has been involved in the geriatric community for over 25 years. She worked for General Electric Medical Systems for 16 years under the helm of Jack Welch CEO. She was part of the Pritikin Longevity for six years. This inspired her to continue her mission to provide excellent care and welfare of the elderly and their families. Eddie is a member of the LA5 Rotary Club.
DR. GABE - PSYCHOLOGIST
Is available for psychological counseling for families in need.

Gerontology Home Companion Agency, Inc. is a private homecare placement service. Clients are responsible for all fees associated with care. We do not bill Medicare, MediCal or private insurance. Many long term care insurance policies pay for care at home. We will assist clients in the filing of claims for insurance reimbursement.

A placement fee is charged in addition to the salary paid by the client to the aide. The placement fee is charged for 2 months or until services end if care is for less than 2 months.
