Kridler Gardens is a destination garden center located in Homeworth, OH. We specialize in rare and unusual perennials, trees, shrubs, and annuals. We have 100 acres of land featuring an arboretum of rare and unusual trees and shrubs; 20 acres of plantings; and a nursery located within these plantings. The grounds also feature a lake, ponds, benches, and a lakeside gazebo with room for a picnic when you visit.
We are pleased to offer a wide range of plant material from the tried-and-true to the newest and rarest. We are especially proud of our Hosta selections, and are constantly updating, selecting, and evaluating these to bring our clients only the best all season and distinct cultivars. We will never sell a plant to a client that we would not plant in our own gardens!

And for the Hosta enthusiast, the Midland Hosta Society is a local group of friendly gardeners with a passion for Hosta. The group meets from January throughout the summer. There is a Hosta exhibit / show every June. You may contact the Midland Hosta Society for more information.
April To Do list: April is the prime month for fertilizing lawns, shrubs, trees, perennials. It normally takes fertilizer 3 weeks in the spring to release and become available to plants. We like to have an early to mid April application going, so that when warm weather hits and plants start growing the food is available. We use only a few chemical fertilizers here at the nursery and on landscape installations and maintenance jobs. One is a phenomenal food that we have exclusively blended for Kridler Gardens. The analysis is 21-7-14, this being made up of a slow release urea based nitrogen, that feeds for an extended period of time. There is also micro and macro nutrients included in the fertilizer. We have a large following of clients who use and swear by it. This comes in a 50# bag for 22.50. One bag will cover 3500 square feet of lawn/and shrubs. The typical average size lawn and garden will require 1 to 2 bags for an all season application.
