California Paving and Grading Company, Inc. was founded in 1941. At that time the company was known as Goode and Schroeder, Inc. It was one of the only privately owned asphalt plants in the Los Angeles area. In 1977 the company changed its name to California Paving and Grading Company, Inc.
CPG serves all of Southern California specializing in professional services as; asphalt paving, concrete paving, seal coating, fine grading, striping and petromat. The materials and products they use are of the highest quality and grade.

Today, under the leadership of Foster Dennis, President and third generation owner, California Paving and Grading Company, Inc. is still recognized as one of the leading paving and grading companies in California. The company is based in Los Angeles and employees over 45 people.
This is a company known for its high quality of workmanship and customer service. Mr. Dennis believes that these are attributes that build a strong reputation, a reputation that he hopes to pass on to his son, Kent Dennis, who will become the fourth generation owner of the company.
Califonia Paving & Grading created the road for this infamous spine-tingling chase scene in Terminator 3.

For the past 63 years CPG has been the exclusive asphalt contractor for Warner Bros and has paved sets for blockbuster movies such as Terminator 2 and 3. In fact, CPG created the road for the infamous chase scene in Terminator 3. Presently, the company is working on a new set for Warner Bros. called Production Village which is a facade designed as a scenic seaside Cape Cod town. This set will be used in upcoming television shows and motion pictures.
