Dicks Automotive Transport and towing has been one of the premiere towing companies in the South Bay, providing emergency road service and towing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since 1957.
Originally started by Dick Sgarlato in 1957, his four sons took over ownership of the Family business in 1990.
Our dedication to service has been instrumental in setting the company above the rest, in a very competitive field. We have always prided ourselves in our immaculate and state of the art trucks. Our uniformed drivers are trained and certified technicians, committed to providing the best service possible.
Dicks Automotive has been a AAA Contractor since 1966 and has a thriving commercial business, able to satisfy your Light Duty, Medium Duty, and Heavy Duty towing needs. If you have it, we can tow it, from Exotic cars, and muscle cars to big rigs and motorcycles. We also do long distance towing and recovery work. Our service trucks serve your needs for lockouts, gas delivery, tire changes and Battery Service, which includes full testing of your vehicles charging system and replacement batteries installed right on the spot.

Dicks Automotive is a member of the CTTA (California Tow Truck Association) and the California State Sheriffs Association Foundation. We currently have towing contracts with CHP and local police departments.
We are proud to be an active part of our community. We participate in the Tipsy Tow Program through AAA every year, which attempts to keep drunk drivers off the road during the holidays, by providing a free tow home.
We also team up with AAA for the yearly Battery Roundup program, protecting our environment, and supporting local youth sports and schools through donations of time and money.
