Eufrazia School of Ballet has been training dancers of all ages in
Classical Ballet Technique since 1967.
We have been in our current location for over 30 years. Conveniently located
near the Rose Garden and minutes away from Santana Row and Valley Fair.
ClassesOur classes are taught in a friendly, caring, positive, and creative environment. Our instructors have been trained in the Royal Academy method.
This method takes the best of the Russian, Italian, and French technique and has developed its own course of study. Classes are graded by ability
(age is taken into consideration) and offer training in all aspects of classical ballet (i.e. technique, terminology, music study, and pantomime). We
also teach basic choreographic skills. Many of our dancers are inspired to use these skills and we encourage them to assist the director with
choreography and setting scenes in our ballets.
Annual PerformancesStudents may choose to participate in our two yearly productions, The Nutcracker in early December and our Spring Performance in June. For
our Spring Performances we produce a storybook ballet, such as Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, Hansel & Gretel and Alice
in Wonderland. Dancers stay with us year after year to dance the many roles in our classical ballets. We give them the opportunity to advance
through these ballets as if they were in a ballet company. We are the only ballet school in the valley that offers this kind of program for the
We pride ourselves in bringing out each dancer’s personal best and inspiring the dancer within. We also guide our dancers toward developing
poise, grace, confidence, self-discipline, responsibility and cooperation when working with others. We feel it is these qualities that build character,
promote a positive self-image, and help our students grow toward a happy and fulfilled life.
