When my son entered third grade he was reading at a first grade level. After just six weeks of tutoring at The Reading Clinic, he was up to grade level. I couldn't believe how easy it was for him to get, and how much he enjoyed the whole process.

The Reading Clinic has instilled confidence in several of my students. Children in my class have graduated from the clinic and actually taught some reading in the classroom. It's similar to giving a child glasses to read. It can make a world of difference!

After six weeks of reading tutoring, the results were miraculous. Not only could he read, he wanted to read. The LiPS® Program addressed Spencer's particular learning needs and gave him the tools necessary to become a good reader. The Reading Clinic completely transformed him from a boy who was becoming withdrawn and increasingly frustrated with school, to a boy who is now confident, happy, and enthusiastic about learning. This past summer, Spencer won third place in a writing contest.

For the first time in my life something in school is coming naturally. It's easier for me to follow lectures, understand key concepts and complete my homework. I can concentrate and understand the main idea. On the October SATs I even felt the reading comprehension part was sort of... well... fun. Since 1997, The Reading Clinic has offered one-to-one tutoring in reading, spelling, writing, language comprehension and math.
