PACIFIC PAIN TREATMENT CENTER (PPTC) is a comprehensive interdisciplinary and interventional pain management practice in San Francisco, California. Dedicated to the excellence in diagnosis and treatment , PPTC sees patients with many chronic pain problems including acute and chronic spinal pain.
At Pacific Pain Treatment Center, each new patient receives a comprehensive medical evaluation by a board certified physician whose expertise is pain medicine. Following the complete initial evaluation our physician, with input by the interdisciplinary team, recommends a treatment plan to reduce and/or eliminate the source of pain for one specific goal: to improve each patients quality of life. This may be done through a safe and minimally invasive procedures skillfully performed with radiographic guidance.
Your personal treatment plan may also include medical management by a variety of other providers including orthopedic and spine surgeons, psychologists, oncologists, neurologists, and psychiatrists. Physical therapy, acupuncture, complimentary medicine or pain counseling may also be included in your treatment plan.
You will typically need a physician referral to be evaluated. However, patients may self refer by calling our office and we will help talk you through the process of requesting a referral from your personal physician. You may also access various patient information documents regarding our care to share with your doctor.
No matter what the source of your pain, PPTC is dedicated to diagnosing your condition, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and facilitating your recovery.
