Our Eco-Friendly Office
We, at Union Square Dental Practice are taking the lead in making the kind of decisions we can be proud of. We have joined the Eco Dentistry Association to implement new strategies to reduce the energy being consumed and the amount of waste being produced in our office. We believe in providing the best, most comprehensive array of dental services, while keeping our commitment to green standards. This will provide a better environment for today and for future generations.

We are going paperless by using patient management software and communicating with our patients through email and sms. To prevent pollution of our local water ways, we've installed a special dry vacuum filtration system that allows for the environmentally sound disposal of old mercury fillings. With that, we offer mercury-free restorations. Instead of traditional x-rays for tooth imaging, our patients are exposed to 90 percent less radiation with the use of digital imaging technology. This also eliminates the needs for the chemicals that process x-rays. The use of soft tissue laser not only provides the cutting edge dental technology in a relaxing, caring and friendly atmosphere, but it also helps and promotes the well-being of the present and future generations.
