Located in the historic district of Niles, in Fremont, California, Kiowa Rose is not your ordinary bead shop. Nestled amongst the antique shops and restaurants of this lovely area, Kiowa Rose Beads and Supplies stands out as something special - and that's from the outside. Once you set foot within the store, you realize you've found that perfect combination of Art Nouveau and modern beading.
Rosie Long, proprietress of this fine establishment, has been creating works of beaded art for thirty-five years. Her store reflects this deep love of art, and it provides a source of beads and supplies to match no other. Every wall, every surface of the store is utilized to display beaded works and beads for sale - all shapes, sizes and colors are to be found here. Antique sideboards, dressers, cupboards and display cases are all utilized to showcase beads and bead projects - and row upon row of tubes of seed beads and strands of Czech glass beads festoon the walls, sorted by color and style.

A Very Special Beading Experience! helen dietz Counterweight Necklace class: We are pleased to offer a special series on the works of helen dietz, her philosophy and her design methodology. Julie Wuest will take you through a personal journey; a close look at helen, her gallery show, a video on how she approached her work - as well as some of helen's necklaces for show - all while you learn how to make your own necklace masterpiece. This is a 4-part class; check the class schedule for dates.

Private Classes are offered at Kiowa Rose. If you are interested in one on one, just you and your friends, or trying to accommodate a hectic schedule we may be able to assist you with private/ or semi private arrangements. There is a 2 hour minimum per visit. Call during business hours for more information.

Vintage Lucite opens Friday, October 15th, 11:00 am - 8:30 pm We will stay open late for this special trunk show which will coinside with Rosie's 'Lavish Lucite Necklace' class which will be Oct 16 & 17 using these great Vintage Lucite Flowers and Leaves!
Gemini Gems, November 20-21 Our friend Benny will have his beautiful assortment of fine stones. Benny's prices are the best we have seen and we love to pass them to you... all prices will be half the marked price at this show!! He also has the biggest variety of shapes and cuts in fine stones we have seen!!
Cherry Tree Trunk Show opens December 11th... show will go through December 18th
Lampwork Flowers and Leaves from Lisa Kan, January 22-23 Amazing Lampwork flowers and leave from Lisa Kan. We will also have a limited number of Lisa''s wonderful autographed books for sale. This sale will coinside with Rosie's 'Floral Cascade Necklace' class which be on Jan 22 & 23 and will use Lisa's beautiful flowers as the project centerpieces!!
