Government & Environment: I like to help people who have applied for social security disability and supplemental security income benefits. I am a solo practitioner and meet directly with my clients. If my administrative assistant is unable to answer questions over the telephone, I will talk to the client. I personally prepare each client for his or her hearing.

Firm Focus and History: Our main focus is social security disability and supplemental security income (SSI) cases. I do a few selective workers' compensation cases.
I started my firm in May of 1996.
Previous Employment Summary:
I worked in the public sector in a human services department. Subsequently, I was a claims adjuster for several years, and then was involved in litigating workers' compensation cases.
Activities and Awards: I served as a judge pro tem at the Fresno Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. I performed pro bono work for Central Valley Legal Services and for the local veterans' Stand Down. I was awarded the Pro Bono Attorney of the Month Award by the Fresno County Bar Association.
We are members of the State Bar of California, the Fresno County Bar Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives, and the California Applicants' Attorney Association. We are certified by the State Board of Legal Specialization to practice workers' compensation law.
