Robert M. Mochizuki, M.D., specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of injuries to and diseases of the musculoskeletal system – the network of bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves that gives the body its shape and allows us to move.

Upon completion of comprehensive evaluation and examination, Dr. Mochizuki designs a personalized treatment plan for each patient. With a generally-conservative approach and strong belief in state-of-the-art, non-invasive orthopedic care, Dr. Mochizuki prides himself in that more than 90% of his patients may be treated in alternate means other than surgery. Whenever possible, Dr. Mochizuki provides his patients with relief and recovery without the pain, cost and recovery time associated with surgery. Options may include a regimen of medication and physical therapy to relieve pain and return patients to functional ability.
When surgery is necessary, Dr. Mochizuki is skilled in all types of orthopedic surgery--from traditional procedures to surgeries that require only the smallest of incisions. He has performed thousands of surgeries in over 25 years of medical practice.
By continually/electively his medical education in specialty areas, Dr. Mochizuki remains dedicated to learning about the most current technologies and improvements in medicine to keep patients abreasted to all possible options.
