Published by Comstock Bonanza Press, it includes select writings & art from the Yuba Watershed Institute's journal, Tree Rings, compiled to inform, inspire & immerse us in the natural world of the Yuba Watershed and beyond.

Joel, of J.Appleseed Food Gardens is part of the beauty of Nevada County, and has played an important part in serving individuals as well as our communtiy. As a healthy man the idea of anything catastrophic was far from his thoughts. Unfortunately, he is now faced with getting the care and treatment needed for multiple myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow. Joel is currently under going treatment at the EuroMed Clinic.
