10:00 Divine Service of Holy Communion
Guest and the Lord's Supper: If you desire to commune, please speak to the pastor before the service. Our altar is open to those who confess oneness with us in doctrine, are members of our congregation or sister congregations of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, and are not under church discipline in another congregation. If you are unable to commune, please speak to Pastor Jordan about catechism classes which will prepare you for communion.
Communicants: Examine your life and faith (1 Corinthians 11:27) as you come to receive the true body and blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins. Use "Christian Questions and Answers" p. 329 (Lutheran Service Book) for self-examination.
Individual confession and absolution by appointment
Redeemer Lutheran Church is a community of believers saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. As a people enabled by the Spirit, we are committed to regular worship and the use of the sacraments, studying and teaching the Bible, praying, using our gifts and talents in God's service, for the caring and nurturing of others and sharing the message of God's salvation so that God is glorified and all people may know Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

We are a Confessional Lutheran congregation that receives the gifts of Christ in Word and Sacrament in the historic liturgies of the Christian church. We have pledged ourselves to the doctrine of the Bible, both law and gospel and to the correct confession of scripture as contained in the Book of Concord, our Lutheran Confessions of faith. Our congregation uses Lutheran Service Book in its services.

Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church and our synod, the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant word of God. This means that we believe that the Bible, as it was written in its original languages, is without error.

Based on this understanding of the Bible, we believe what it clearly teaches regarding creation, salvation and sanctification.

We believe that Genesis chapters one and two are factual accounts of creation and we therefore reject the false teaching of evolution which has no scientific basis, but is simply another of Satan's schemes to lead people away from the truth.

We believe that we are saved by the grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ and not by any of our own works. When Jesus died on the cross, He paid for the sins of all mankind. His resurrection from the dead guarantees our resurrection to life in the new heavens and new earth. All who believe in Him will be saved. All who do not believe in Him will be lost in hell forever. Our Lord gives us the treasures of salvation in the means of grace; baptism, holy communion, holy absolution, the preaching of the gospel, and in our conversations with one another.

We believe that those who are saved will do the good works that God wants them to do, not in order to be saved, but because they are saved. We call these acts "Sanctification" as we live our vocations each day, glorifying God and serving our neighbor in love.

We welcome you to the Lord's church and desire that you come to be part of the body of Christ at Redeemer.

Don't Confuse All Lutherans

Current Issues Don't Confuse All Lutherans
Collectively, "Lutherans" are the largest Protestant denomination in the world. However, many are in name only. There are also numerous divisions or "Synods" that can vary from being very liberal (both theologically and culturally) to being very "conservative", ie. holding to the Holy Scripture as the inerrant Word of God, the "Confessional" standards of the historic Reformation of the 1500's, and family values in light of Biblical teaching. We are the LCMS (Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod), a 2.4 million member church body with some 6,000 congregations throughout the USA and mission work in dozens of nations (not to be confused with or associated in any way with ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America), a membership of 4.8 million.....(Read More)
