Progress House is a Social Model Program, it is client driven and based on the disease concept and we believe the disease is treatable. It is because of this philosophy and the twelve-step program of recovery based upon it, that Progress House, Inc. has become known as one of the leading treatment facilities in the State of California.

Responding to the needs of the alcohol and other drug treatment community since the origin of Progress House in 1973, Progress House has expanded and diversified to meet the needs of the communities. There are now gender specific and coeducational residential programs, outpatient counseling at various levels of intensity, transitional living for men and women, and the ability of children to accompany there mother throughout the entire treatment episode.
