We are the largest dealership of recumbents, recumbent trikes, tandems, tandem trikes, travel, commuting and touring bikes in Northern, California. Since 1999, we've remained committed to selling these special bikes and trikes exclusively. For the new 2009 season we have added: Civia Cycles high end commuting bikes, World famous Brompton folding bikes, and Ohm BionX assist bikes. Web pages for these lines are now in development. One visit to our bike shop and you will see what we mean. Starting out our focus was on the local community being that of the greater Sacramento, California area. We never dreamed that we'd eventually reach out to much of Northern California as well as North East Nevada. While we can be considered a local bike shop for the locals, Gold Country Cyclery has become a destination shop for the unique bicycles we chose to carry. We also carry parts, accessories and provide service for all the bikes we sell.

We are located in a foothills community East of Sacramento off Highway 50. Our unique location provides for extended test rides in a much safer environment. We have some hills for those test riders wanting to evaluate their ability to climb on various bike models. We prefer that test rides be done by appointment so that you receive our fullest attention to your requirements. Please call or send an email for appointment scheduling.
