We're located in the heart of San Diego's vibrant Hillcrest community's Fifth Avenue shopping and entertainment area. It's a great place to spend an afternoon visiting shops and dining. We welcome you to stop by our store, browse, linger, and, of course, buy.
We have about 40,000 books in our stacks so there's a good chance we've got something for you. If you don't see it, we'll try to find it for you.
We buy books. Bring your old books for us to take a look at. We're picky, so feel free to call ahead with a rough idea of what you've got so we can tell you if we're likely to be interested.
Getting Here: From the north, take Route 163 south (from 8, 805, etc) to the Univeristy Avenue exit. You are now on 6th Ave. Continue thru the first light and make a right on Robinson. Make the next right on 5th Avenue and we're about 4 stores up, on the right.
From the south take 163 from downtown or I-5 to the Robinson St. exit. Follow Robinson west and make a right on 5th Avenue and we're about 4 stores up, on the right.

Meters: there are meters on both sides on 5th Avenue, which is one-way northbound. No fee on Sundays or after 6pm
4th Avenue Lot: is directly behind us. Us the alley between 4th and 5th if coming from the North or South as described above. Or take University or Washington Street to 4th Avenue and go south. We validate for this lot.
Fifth and Robinson: right behind the Washington Mutual bank, accessible from 5th Ave or from the alley between 4th and 5th off Robinson
