enjoys a fine reputation of quality care delivered by a dedicated staff. Always a leader in Healthcare, we were the first, and remain the only, skilled nursing facility in the Bay Area with a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner on staff. Our supervisors share over 100 years of continuous service at our center. The staffs longevity is due primarily to extensive training and their ability to provide the best care possible in a very pleasant environment.

Many of our referrals come from physicians because of their satisfaction in the care we provide their patients. They know that we take the extra steps to assure our patients personal comfort.

Mountain View Healthcare Centers goal is to assist residents in regaining strength and independence. Our rehabilitation and sub-acute programs consistently return residents to their homes.

The large private gardens and patios are ideal for socializing and relaxing. The individually decorated rooms add to the warmth and friendly atmosphere. Our many activities are designed for residents and families and include parties, buffets, barbecues and special entertainment.

Well-balanced meals and a wide variety of ethnic menus that are tastefully prepared by our Chef and nutritionally evaluated by our staff Dietitian to ensure that diets are served as prescribed by the Physicians.

We are attentive to you particular needs. Our commitment is to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

When you need a qualified facility to recover from an illness or surgery, we provide I.V. Therapy, Post Surgical, Acute, Enteral and Wound Care.

To help you make the transition to your home or to recover from an illness we provide Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy.
Hospice and Respite Care:
If you are facing a terminal illness we can assist you with our Hospice program. If you are the primary caregiver and you need some time to rest, we can provide care for your loved one for a few days or however long you desire.
Alzheimers and Related Diseases Unit:
We provide cozy rooms for 30 residents in a distinct and separate area that contains its own dining and activity room, and private garden patio. Our staff includes a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and Social Worker.

We are a Contracted Provider for Kaiser Permanente Plan Members

Our Geriatric Nurse Practitioner coordinates an individual plan of care for each of our patients.
