Lakeport Yoga was begun in Lake County, California, in the year 2000 by Sue Stiles, an Iyengar yoga teacher,
for the purpose of studying and practicing Iyengar yoga. In 2004, with the opening of the Lakeport Yoga Center,
yoga instruction was brought to a new level in a state-of-the-art studio staffed by professional quality teachers.
