Medicare and Veterans Administration provider for diabetic & orthopedic shoes.

Our customers come to us because they know we're in the business of footcare as well as footwear. Many of the 70,000+ per year, lower extremity amputations, in the U.S. could be prevented with education and proper foot care. As an added service to our diabetic and neuropathic customers; AFC is pleased to offer free annual foot screenings..
AFC is a participant in the nationwide "Lower Extremity Amputation Prevention" (LEAP) program. This brief, free examination will identify people with acute foot problems and/or potential problems.

Medicare and many private insurance companies will assist people with diabetes with extra-depth shoes along with customized shoe inserts for those shoes.
