We are located in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area, in Silicon Valley, specifically Menlo Park, CA minutes from the Stanford University campus in Palo Alto and a short walk from Sand Hill Road – where the vast majority of the world’s venture capital originates. We are also a short drive north on the country’s most beautiful freeway (280) to both San Francisco and then to the North Bay (Marin) or across the Bay Bridge to my alma mater, U.C. Berkeley. The Pacific Ocean and coastline are just a few miles west through the California Redwood forests.
Companies such as: Google, HP, Apple, Oracle, Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Genentech, and the myriad of other well-known Silicon Valley and Santa Clara County companies and startups are also nearby as are several important U.S. National Labs and Think Tanks. HILG is a short drive from Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL), Lawrence Livermore National Lab (LLNL) and Sandia National Lab. SLAC (Stanford Linear Accelerator) and SRI (Stanford Research Institute) as well as Xerox Parc are alsoclose byneighbors.
