The children, our students, are to be well educated in mind, developed soundly in body and above all, inspired in spirit by the precepts of the Judeo/Christian ethic in order to give meaning and purpose to their lives.

Please join us on Wednesday, Nov. 17, as Oakridge students will be visited by the famous television and radio personality "Retro Bill." He will be presenting his anti-bullying program during the school assemblies. Times are posted as:
9:00 - 9:45 - 5th --- 8th grades

Thanksgiving Food Drive- ends Wed., Nov. 17th Thank you. Our barrels are filling up quickly for the Second Harvest Food Bank. This is a wonderful community service to help those in need! Lets work together to fill all the barrels.

Conference times have been scheduled for Thursday and Friday. Your childs report card will be given at your conference time. Day Care is provided both days, Nov. 18th and 19th, for working parents. Please notify the office if your child needs day care.
There is no school for Middle School and it is half day for Jr.K-5th on Nov. 18th. The dismissal schedule is as follows:
Jr. K/K - 11:30 am

4th/5th - 12:00 pm
There is no school on the 19th for all students.

Scrip-Employers- Grocery stores Scrip is a great way to show appreciation and thankfulness to your employees and friends this Thanksgiving. Because of our non-profit status we are able to give a tax receipt for the profit amount of your purchase. There are several stores to choose from. Welcome Home! A Portrait of Family at Christmas, Dec. 10th- All are invited to the annual Christmas Program, held at the Marywood Retreat Center, 2811 Villa Real, Orange, at 2:00 p.m. Children need to be at the center no later than 1:45 p.m., to meet their teachers. Please dress them in fancy attire for the occasion. Half day for all students in order to prepare for the program.
