AMERICA MAT STC 25 AND NRC .50 FOR 1" THICK
For Absorbing Noise, we recommend using our AMERICAMAT which is a closed cell foam that is used to dampen sound. It can be used effectively in many sound enclosures to quiet generators, pumps, motors, elevators, HVAC equipment, spas, and music studio walls. It is a common soundproofing application in automobiles, trucks, boats and motor homes. America Mat is made of vinyl nitrile foam, which has proven to be very durable over time and under severe weather conditions.

Flooring Underlayments reduce impact noise between floors. They may be used under carpet, tile, ceramic and hardwood floors. We suggest using one of our flooring underlayments.

Structural noise is the most difficult to contain. By structural noise, we mean sounds that make your walls and windows rattle, such as trains, bass music, etc.

This type of noise requires that you isolate the sound source by breaking its path. Designers of music studios accomplish this by creating a room within a room.

This may not be practical for everyone, so we emulate this using GREEN GLUE.
