this first miraculous glimpse of your baby with 4D ultrasound!

When is the best time for a 4D ultrasound?
If you are looking for the best facial images, the best time to have your 4D ultrasound is between 29 and 34 weeks. It is possible to get 3D/4D images at any time, but within this range the baby has well developed facial features, yet still has enough amniotic fluid for us to get great images.
Many expectant parents schedule an ultrasound from 18 weeks up to 26 weeks to determine gender, see a tiny little face and much of the body. Many parents appreciate this time because they see so much movement that they do not feel! They return at 30 to 34 weeks when the finest details of the face can be seen.
Some parents get caught up in their preparation routine and after 34 week realize they did not get their 4D ultrasound. The majority of the time we can get images beyond 34 weeks and sometimes they are even more brilliant and detailed then earlier scans. The quality depends largely on the amount of amniotic fluid.

Is it safe for me and my baby?
The Ultrasound Experience is safe for both mother and fetus. Our state of the art technology uses the EXACT same ultrasound waves used in a traditional 2D scan at your doctor's office. The machine and software simply process the information differently to provide us with spectacular 3D images and 4D video. You can rest assured knowing you are receiving the highest quality elective imaging available.*

* The Ultrasound Experience is an ELECTIVE ultrasound imaging facility. We require that all mothers have documentation of their medical, diagnostic ultrasound. We do not perform medical ultrasounds.
