Important Information regarding Winter Session and Registration Dates for Spring 2011.Due to state budget cuts to education Winter Session has been CANCELLED for 2011. That means when the Fall Semester ends on December 11, 2010, there will be a break from classes at IVC until Spring Semester commences on February 14, 2011. Students with questions on this should meet with a counselor.
Registration for Spring 2011 will begin Monday, January 10th, 2011.
(Have Questions? Please speak with a counselor prior to the end of the Fall 2010 semester)
Counseling Center Office Hours to Change Beginning October 4th
Starting on October 4th, the Counseling Center Office Hours will change to the following:
Monday, Thursday and Friday - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Tuesday and Wednesday - 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Admissions and Records Office Hours to Change Beginning October 4th
Starting on October 4th, the Admissions and Records Office Hours will change to the following:
Monday, Thursday and Friday - 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Tuesday and Wednesday - 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM
April 14: Southern California Association of Governments Awards Imperial Valley College the Compass Blueprint Recognition Award
IVC is now a Tobacco Free Campus
Effective as of the Fall 2009 semester, Imperial Valley College shall be a tobacco-free campus. For more information please review the Smoking Policy.
Dates to Remember
November 25-26: Holiday – Thanksgiving – No Classes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
December 6-11: Last week of classes including final examinations
December 13 – January 5, 2011: No Classes (College closed December 20 through December 31)
February 14, 2011 – June 10, 2011: Spring Semester 2011
