Industrial Forming is a custom plastic thermoforming business based in southern California with over 20 years experience in vacuum thermoforming thin and thick gauge plastic products. We service many different industries using a wide variety of standard and high performance plastics. We also offer off-the-shelf trays in various configurations.

We produce a wide variety of thick gauge vacuum thermoformed parts for diverse applications such as Search and Rescue, Construction, Automotive, Communications, Military, and other specialty applications.

We can process materials up to 3/8 starting thickness and offer a variety of trim options.

In the vacuum assisted thermoforming process a sheet of plastic material is heated uniformly to the softening point of the material, next the softened sheet is brought in contact with the mold surface. Then vacuum is applied and the trapped air is evacuated by means of very small holes in the mold.
