The Animal Emergency Care Center was established in 1982 by West Valley member veterinarians and their hospitals to provide you with a continuity of care when there is an urgent or critical need.
By referring you to our Center your veterinarian demonstrates confidence in our ability to help you through a difficult time. A summary of your pet's visit to the center is faxed to your veterinarian and you.
A veterinarian and technical staff are on duty continuously during the hours of operation. The Center staff is dedicated to and knowledgeable in the diagnostic and therapeutic procedures necessary for pets exhibiting urgent and potentially life-threatening conditions. If the attending veterinarian is not familiar with the medical problems of certain species, every effort will be made to refer your pet and you to a facility that does handle these animals.
