Come on in and enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch with the locals while having a great day at the Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk! Beach Street Cafe is owned and operated by Dollie and Willie Case. The building housing the present operation dates back to the turn of the century, making it one of the oldest structures in the beach area.

"There's no place in California like the Santa Cruz boardwalk, and there's no place in Santa Cruz like the Beach Street Cafe. The food here is consistently good. Fresh, wholesome, natural ingredients are the rule, a policy that has won awards for the clam chowder, simmered for hours with tender sea clams and fresh vegetables. The "mile-high" hamburger is a big favorite, and I can personally attest to the delicious orange muffins and fresh-ground coffee."

"While visiting with friends in Santa Cruz, Sue and I had no idea where to go for lunch, but a local woman suggested the Beach Street Cafe, saying it was excellent and unique. Boy, was she ever right. This cozy restaurant is right across the street from the fun zone of Santa Cruz, yet has all the charm of an old world cafe."

"If you're going to the beach in Santa Cruz...get up early, zip over the hill and enjoy breakfast at the beach while you're waiting for the morning fog to burn off. The Beach Street Cafe serves up a wonderful brunch in a calm, cozy atmosphere. Be sure to go for the orange muffin."
