BOARDING RATES:New clients' rate: DOGS $30 per day.
Discounts available: longtime-client, frequent guests, multiple pets (10 PERCENT OFF TOTAL), military (thank you for your service!); rescues; search or medical ("service") dogs.
CATS $21 per day.
Pickup at 8:30 a.m. or noon is half-day charge; checkin 5:30 p.m. no charge for that night.
CURRENT RABIES, DISTEMPER/PARVO; BORDETELLA (nasal drops for K-9 cough) REQUIRED. Senior dogs may not require yearly shots; consult your vet (bordetella always required).

Dogwood Ranch offers community play areas and comfy overnight rooms in the "bunkhouse". Drive by our pet resort (10385 Reese Circle in Prunedale, just north of Salinas and east of Monterey) to observe our guests at play in our private dogpark.

We no longer feed or recommend Iams dogfood. We serve Royal Canin Sensible Choice/premium lamb and rice and chicken and rice, or you can bring special food.

Your dog will play outdoors with other dogs (weather permitting) all day and only confined to a room at night. Each dog has a "bunkbed"; family rooms available.

FLEA AND TICK PREVENTATIVE (Frontline TopSpot) and TOENAIL TRIM required before boarding (prevents injury to our staff and other guests. $35 fee if we have to trim nails).

(If you Mapquest, use "Salinas" as city) To get to Dogwood Ranch from Salinas, take Hwy. 101 north, look for the Caltrans green "Prunedale" sign, take next major right turn on Reese Circle, go to almost end of cul-de-sac.
From Monterey, go Hwy. 1 north to Castroville, go to Hwy. 101. From intersection Hwy. 101 at Hwy. 156 Monterey turnoff, go SOUTH, look for flashing yellow light above freeway, start merge to left lane, go to VERY bottom of hill, get into left turn lane, WAIT until safe!, turn left on Reese Circle.)

Hours: OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY (3 times a day): 8:30 a.m., noon or 5:30 p.m.; CLOSED SUNDAYS AND MAJOR HOLIDAYS (but we live right on the premises to provide 24/7 care for your pets).

TURBO is a half pug/half sharpei; she's also a ton of fun!

YOUR DOG WILL GO HOME TIRED BUT HAPPY! (and sometimes a little dirty from outdoor play and pool splashing....)
