*Apples Bed and Breakfast Inn is nestled on a wooded acre in the Moonridge area of Big Bear Lake. Set in the midst of an acre of pine trees in the pristine San Bernardino mountains of Southern California, we are only mile from the golf course, the lake, great fishing, as well as two major California ski resorts. Partake in Summer and Winter sports here in Big Bear including golf, boating, jet skiing, parasailing, fishing and swimming. In the Winter there is skiing, snow boarding, and sledding, and all year you can hike and explore the serenity of the forest, or a power walk on paved paths along the lake. The favorite thing our bed and breakfast guests seem to enjoy most about Big Bear is just relaxing in clear and clean air.

*Apples was designed and built in 1993 for the discriminating B&B traveler. It has been owned and operated by its original owners - Jim and Barbara McLean. Located on a wooded acre of level grounds in the lower Moonridge area, we are 2 miles from the Village and 1 mile from either ski resort, the golf course, or the zoo. We are one of the highly rated B&Bs in Big Bear Lake.

*Our guest rooms have king sized beds, down bedding, private baths (4 with Jacuzzi tubs for 2), 2 reclining chairs, televisions with DVD and VCR capability, with covered porches across the front and back of the main house, as well as the garden buildings. We have a large selection of movies, games and books for you to borrow when all you want to do is spend the special alone time with that someone special.

*Breakfast at Apples always include a delectable egg dish, bread courses and muffins are freshly baked every morning, along with a breakfast meat, fruit dish, and our homemade granola or creamy muesli, as well as juice, and coffee or tea. There is a snack and beverage bar well stocked with ice, soft drinks, teas, hot chocolate, hot cider, and candies.

*In the afternoon, share a glass of Sparkling Apple Cider along cheeses, crackers, nuts, chocolate raisins and pretzels. After dinner, settle in with a steaming cup of coffee or tea, and our homemade desserts.
