Hunter Stallion Station Equine Veterinary Clinic (HSS-EVC) is located in Wilton, CA. HSS-EVC was founded and is fueled by Robert Hunter, DVM. Dr. Hunter is a 1979 graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and a member of both the American Association of Equine Practitioners and the California Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Hunter has a successful Veterinary practice and has taught college courses in Equine Reproduction and Health Management.
Hunter Stallion Station Equine Veterinary Clinic has been collecting stallions and breeding horses for over 20 years. HSS-EVC was among the first to ship fresh cooled semen in the 80s. HSS-EVC was using frozen semen from Europe to breed mares prior to it becoming a common practice in the United States. Over the years HSS-EVC has handled and collected stallions of many different breeds and a wide range of semen quality. Most stallions ship very well, occasionally some need special techniques to improve and insure the highest quality, motility and longevity possible.

The staff at HSS-EVC works diligently to keep owners educated and informed through out their stay.
