A Step Forward, Inc. is a private group psychotherapy practice, established in 1985, as a child abuse treatment and training program. It has since expanded to provide a range of treatment services in addition to working with victims and perpetrators of child abuse.
All the therapists at A Step Forward are licensed clinicians with extensive experience in their areas of expertise. Therapeutic services include individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults; family therapy; adult and adolescent offender treatment; and trauma resolution work.
A Step Forward is a continuing education provider for MFTS and LCSWs. We work in collaboration with Superior, Juvenile and Family Courts, providing therapy, evaluations, and mediation services.
Intakes are taken Monday through Friday. New clients and referral sources should call the main office at (925) 685-9670 ext. 101. A licensed therapist will return calls within twenty-four hours. Clients will be matched with the therapist that best meets the client’s needs.
