This text will be replaced Carden Hall is a traditional day school for students in grades junior primary (from age four and a half) through eight. Currently in our 48th year, with 500 students, we offer a joyous, loving atmosphere where children thrive. Our students enjoy coming to school because our learning is purposeful, challenging, and fun. Two of the school's greatest strengths that have led to our enduring success are the sequential, comprehensive Carden curriculum and our emphasis on character development. Students are held accountable for their school work and their behavioral choices which fosters the development of self-discipline and self-esteem.
At Carden Hall we believe that each child has the ability and the desire to learn. Mae Carden's sequential curriculum and practical teaching techniques, our carefully trained staff, and our small class size allow for individualized attention as learning progresses. We view every child as capable of succeeding, and we work tirelessly to ensure that they do.
While each child is held accountable for his work, we believe that it is the teachers' responsibility to teach and to reach each student so that he can experience success. Therefore, we adhere to Mae Carden's philosophy, which stresses the importance of teaching the major subjects in small groups, based on the way a child learns, not on his or her intelligence. Carden Hall students are well known for their positive attitude, excellent deportment, and exceptional achievement in the language arts, mathematics, and other academic disciplines.
